THIS IS THE FINAL MEETING OF THE DARTINGTON NATURAL HISTORY SOCIETY

For numerous reasons this decision was taken at the Autumn 2007 AGM.

As Chairman/Secretary I would like to thank all past members, visitors and speakers for their participation and contributions over the past 43 years and particularly Iris Allison  who had the foresight to start the DHNS which has over the years brought so much enjoyment to so many people, and developed many strong friendships, and increased the understanding of many areas of natural history, local and abroad.

"The environment is not a luxury, nor can it be postponed until later."

"What is this life if, full of care, we have not time to stand and stare?"
